OBV is also represented on the board of the Oxford Centre for Buddhist Studies and the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. The Abbot is Executive Secretary of both the Association of Theravada Buddhist Universities (ATBU) (www.atbu.org)
and of the International Association of Buddhist Universities (IABU) (www.iabu.org). He is also Professor at International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University, Rangoon, Burma and is active in organising networking and conferencing activities between Buddhist scholars and practitioners worldwide.
