School for Children
A Buddhist
Sunday School for the children at the Oxford Buddha Vihara
is conducted every Sunday from 2-4pm. The school is aimed
at providing children with Buddhist moral education and
Buddhist culture. It also helps children learn, if they
wish to, the language of their parents, Thai or Burmese.
Children
between 5 to 18 year of age can be enrolled for the classes.
There is no condition for enrolment. However, all children
under 16 year of age must be accompanied by an adult to
the class.
There is a short chanting and three minutes meditation before
the classes begin. There are two classes in our Sunday School:
Buddhism and Thai or Burmese language. Each class lasts
45 minutes.

There is no fee for all
the classes.

2:00-2:10 pm. Chanting,
meditation and assembly
2:15-3:00 pm Buddhism
3:00-3:15 pm Break
3:15-4:00 pm Thai or Burmese classes
